Lumien is a video game made by over 60 students of the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida. I had the honor to be the Lead Concept Artist on this project.
Enemy Concept - The Shatterer
One of the first enemy concepts to make it into the game, the Shatterer quickly causes problems for the player with it's gigantic hammer
Enemy Concept - Tripod Turret
This is also one of the earlier designs. Embodying a more animalistic feel, it's a machine using range to it's advantage.
Miniboss Concept - Rammbo
This huge mechanical bull charges the player to crush them with incredible force.
Character Concept - Main Character
The player controls an agile living avatar implanted with the soul of a human. They explore a vast underground environment of a civilization long forgotten.

Platform Orb
Centerpiece of the gameplay are the orbs, which act as tools to aid the player through the game. The each have different effects and abilitites.
